Previous Guilds: I used to be in Argh until about a few months ago. My friend also applied to argh (also a holy pally), and I thought that if I let him play my character for a few bosses it'll give him some experience he could put on his application. But there was a misunderstanding with the guild on how many times I had done this (it made me look like I had him play my character and earn DKP without doing anything). They also thought it was a breach of trust and that eventually lead to my dismissal. I've learned my lesson and won't do this again.

Other: I have very good gear for all 3 specs, I can respec at any time.

Talents: Before the patch, I specced 43/18 (to get improved concentration aura), now with the patch I went deep holy. With this I'll be able to use Judgement more often which will increase my spell haste, and therefore more healing. Once we get into WotLK I plan to go into the ret tree for Conviction (+5% crit).

Gear: I've been all the way up to Brutallus, and have everything I need from BT/HY (holywise, except for the boots from Naj'entus, he won't drop em for me). I also have s3 gloves which I want to replace with Sunblessed Gauntlets (i have all the mats besides sunmotes). Currently my gear is gemmed for spell haste which I plan to regem, but I do have a spell haste set which gives me around 220 spell haste. I also enjoy to play all specs, so if given the opportunity for offspec gear I can gear that up as well.

Farming: I have mp5 flasks, adept's elixir and elixir of draenic wisdom, as well as mana oil and Blackened Sporefish (20 stam/8mp5 food) for raids.

WoW: I like to have fun and experience new things and challenges. It's rewarding to take down a strong enemy with teamwork. I think the first time I killed Illidan was my most rewarding moment. We were working for a long time to get him down and it was very satisfying to see him die. Also the glaive drop was nice.

Guild: I stopped raiding for quite a while, but I found things were becoming dull. I want to get raiding again and play with other people. My overall experience makes me a great asset.

A Story: I think my favorite item is my Amani War Bear. I love bears and was very happy when I got mine. We had been doing bear runs for a while and I finally got mine. I call him Mr. Fuzzums and feed him hawkstriders.

I'm very glad that you are being so honest on your application about the misunderstanding between you and the guild--as Yar said, that goes a long way with us. Please be aware that we are fast approaching the xpac, which means that our raid structure may become a little volatile once it hits. Are you okay with being able to raid for only a few weeks before things change?

I figured I'd try out the new and pwnage ret talents from the patch. I logged out in my holy gear so you'd know what my holy gear looks like. I also linked my holy talents that I would be were I holy.

As for my friend, I wanted to give him some experience on endgame content. I only let him play my character on bosses that we've been doing for a while. Like Azgalor and Naj'entus. I did let him play on my character for Illidan once, which I think sort of made the officers a little angry. We had killed him several times before and I was coaching him through it, but Illidan still is no joke.

For healing, I'm usually assigned to the Main Tank. On fights like Azgalor I've usually healed the add tank and for Illidari Council I'm on the Gathios tank most of the time, although I've also healed the rogue tank. I usually start off with Flash of Lights, throwing in a rank 4 holy light every 15 sec to keep Light's Grace up. When the tank gets below 50% (or higher, depending if the boss has high spike potential), I switch to casting Holy Light. For oh-shit moments, I don't have Nature's Swiftness or Swiftmend for powerful instant heals, but I do use Divine Favor which can give my target a nice big heal. I also have Lay on Hands that I really didn't use much (except for RoS phase 3), but now with the 20 minute cooldown I think I'll be able to use it more often.

For glyphs, the only healing glyph that looks interesting to me is Glyph of Holy Light. I don't think I'd use any of the other glyphs.

Yes I do. I'm only using rank 4 Holy Light for the sake of keeping Elune's Grace up. That way, when I need to cast a Holy Light, it'll be 2 seconds instead of 2.5. I use Rank 4 because the mana cost is lower and will overheal less.

I've done Kalecgos and Brutallus with Argh (didn't kill Brutallus, but I've done some attempts and I know the strategies, staggering heals, what to do with burn, etc...). I've read up on the rest of the fights so I know about them.

For last night's raid, for our healers, we ran with:
5 Raiders - full time raid member
3 Raid Alts - doesn't raid full time, or doesn't quite meet the standards that is required of his class
1 Alt player - playing a toon that is not his primary character - at the raid's request

So we currently do not have a full group of healer Raiders to fill a SWP run.

If you want in, then I will get you in. The raid plan is 4 nights a week in SWP. BT has been moved to off nights, so you will be thrown right into the fire. No warm ups. No feeling out period with easy bosses/instances. We are currently on the Eredar Twins.

What can I promise you? Just about nothing. You will be coming into the guild with 0 dkp. So all of the healers will have more then you. Our first Kalecgos kill was 10/12, so all of the loot from these SWP bosses is still new and almost all of our guildies need them. There's about 3 more weeks before the expansion. That's 3 more Kalecgos kills. 3 more Brutallus kills. 3 more Felmyst kills. And so on and so forth. So if you come in, you'll probably only get 1, or maybe 2, pieces of gear. But if you hold your own, then you will get in for those boss kills. You will be able to see most, if not all, of SWP. And if you can make it to an off night BT run, then you will be able to see the full instance cleared also.

Now if the entire guild falls apart next week, then I'm sorry. We tried. You're good enough to be here, but your timing was just wrong.

I'm tired of making people play classes that they don't want to play. I'm tired of people underperforming in SWP. I'm tired of people coming to the instances but not ready to raid. I'm tired of making 24 other people wait, just because we don't have enough healers online. I'm tired of the demand this puts on our healers, that they have to be there every single raid, otherwise they are letting down the entire guild.

If this still sounds good to you, then look me up at 5:30pm today. (And if you read this late, then 5:30pm tomorrow. I can't expect you to read our forums every single day, unless you are a guild member.) I will offer you an invite to the guild. Does this mean that you will get to raid straight away?
